We are proud to announce you our new screening tour in Lebanon!

This September, the mobile cinema from Buzuruna Juzuruna will be on the road again! From the south to the north of Lebanon, we will install our cinema in different places during which we will screen movies, discuss, meet together, exchange seeds, and of course eat good food!

These events will be the occasion to meet the people from the Lebanese network of Peasant Seeds (HOBOB). They will organise a seed swap table and present their manifesto.
This year we will also be highlighting the work of 8 directors who tackle different themes related to biodiversity in Lebanon followed by movies about food sovereignty. Each night will be focusing on two movies followed by debate and discussion. The theme addressed are: pesticides and permaculture, the danger of invasive plants, migratory birds, endemic flower and tree, water resources in the North and women’s ancestral traditions.

Saida's stop will be at Sikka on Saturday, 14 September 2024 at 5:30pm
