Creative Writing Workshop - A Memory for the Future

forumZFD is holding a one and a half day creative storytelling workshop under the title “A memory for the Future”. 

In times of recurrent and extreme violence, our stories hold the power to counter its narratives and the potential to co-create a future of non-violence.

The workshop aims to engage creatively with our own personal stories to examine the past, reflect on the present and build shared ambitions for the future. 

This will be done through a structured reflective writing process.

For this workshop, we invite 12 selected participants to share, reflect and engage with their personal stories (details will be sent by email). 

During the workshop, the participants will explore the power of personal stories in times of violence. This will be done through collective and individual writing exercises, and collective sharing and discussions to explore the topic. 

The workshop is in Arabic. 

Writings can be in any language. 

If selected, you will hear back from us by July 1st, 2024.

An invitation will be sent including all the details.
